Ryan's Corner     Should I call him Ryan or should I call him "the best"? That is Ryan to me... simply "the best".  The best friend and the best brother ever.  I can never forget the first time we met on WBS.  His handle caught my attention and I said "hi" and he said "hi" and then the usual questions about age, sex and location.  The last question was the key to our hearts, because you see  Ryan is originally from Arizona. From the same city I am, Phoenix. Ryan lives in Michigan now but that didn't stop us to become friends, good friends and then best friends.  This was more than a year ago (1998). A year of a completely different friendship.  Something inside mesaid Ryan is a keeper, don't ever loose him and after so many months I believe those voices were telling me the truth.  Because what is Ryan to me is like a little brother to an older brother. When we passed the preliminary questions we focused on other issues.  Whatissues?  Well when other kids were more involved in loose chat and teasing each other or having cyber, Ryan and I started talking about books we read, camping, Phoenix, movies and lots of other things.  Everything else but loose, empty and meaningless chat.  Yeah! you are thinking two nerds were having fun.  But we were not nerds, and we won't be ever.  We are just two friends, two old friends who haven't seen each other for years and they had a lot of catching up to do.  Yes! thatis Ryan to me. Even after a year long of sleepless nights and very very long chats we still havea lot to say to each other.  Some nights we have chatted for the entire night and a part of the next day.  That is not something even online lovers might do.  It is just how we feel, how strange we feel so close to each other that makes us talk and talk and learn new things from one another. Once he called me his "guardian angel online" well! I don't know if I'm an angel or not (possibly not) but I know one thing I look at Ryan as my own brother and I feel the duty and obligation to look after him, to make sure he is protected and he is away from bad people.  I don't think anyone ever can understand this concept it is even a complicated subject for me sometimes...this feelings and this obligation I sense sometimes.  Anyway I look at Ryan as a part of my family not just a stranger on the net, No not anymore. It still amazes me how Ryan and I can talk about everything so seriously. Ryan is very smart even with his handicap, he is a very good composer and he knows a lot about building homepages and HTML.  I won't tell you what his handicap is .. if you really want to know you can go to his page and read it for yourself.. just follow his link at the bottom of this page. Ryan has another very close friend and he is Billy.  The've known each other for two years now.  I have a very high respect for Billy and I respect their friendship.  Why?  Because Billy is the real "guardian angel" for Ryan.  Ryan and Billy's friendship is one of the strongestI have ever seen and I hope all three of us stay friends forever. If this just happens then it will be just simply great . I think for someone like me who came online in search of someone who I can relate and talk to without worrying about getting into certain unwanted chat that I really don't appreciate, Ryan is a miracle.  Some might say he is boring and no fun or even dumb, but the truth is they have no clue what is going on with Ryan, they have no idea how pure his thoughts are. They judge Ryan by their own standards and they judge him way wrong. If they would only spend one whole night talking to Ryan about books and movies etc they would understand why he is so special and important to me. Ryan never goes to extreme in anything except friendship.  When it comes to friendship he is one heck of a demanding soul, but I just love him for that one quality.  He never tries to convince you, you are wrong or that you don't know anything and he is the only one who knows everything  NO! that's not Ryan.  He comes at you with a suspicious mind and when he gets to know you and becomes a friend, he remains a friend for life. All he wants out of a friendship is "friendship" and it is something really hard to find in someone on the net.  If Ryan likes you then you are hooked and if you ask me you will never regret it.  Well! Ryan is very good with computers and making homepages and playing midi songs on his computer and keyboard and the best part, when you ask for help with something on your homepage or on the net he will never say No!  Well!
